Administrative
Assisting
This program is designed to train the
graduate for an entry-level career in
the Administrative Assisting field.
This graduate may work as a Secretary,
Receptionist, Executive Assistant, or
Administrative Assistant. The graduate
of this program should possess basic
bookkeeping skills, basic office skills,
many end-user computer skills including
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access,
Powerpoint, and Outlook). The graduate
will also have a solid foundation in
business math and English as well as
advanced keyboarding skills (approximately
50 words per minute) and transcription
skills. The graduate will also be well

Graduates of the Executive Secretarial
program can transfer all of their
credits into our Associate Degree
in Business and complete their Associate
Degree in three additional quarters
(daytime).
